9:57 pm	still winter, but a nice niche of warm weather Snow's a melting all around... I enjoy it while I can....sunshine, warm breezes.... however long it lasts. I was able to run all four dogs in a field along the road here. I can only do it when I can park alongside it, which is not when there is ice or deep snow. We walked and ran deep into the field and with their tails simultaneously wagging the dogs snuffed and dug up the muddy grasses looking for prey. I enjoyed their unity and their joy in following their hearts' desires. Current Mood: hopeful (Comment on this)

9:26 am	FOUND! Yes!!! After we made multiple phone calls and heads-up to people who might help.... my Dad's neighbor spotted Magic sitting on a porch on her way to work. She knew the people who owned the porch were weekenders who were out of town for Christmas/Solstice so she took a good look and saw he fit the description of Magic. She couldn't reach my parents who were outside, so she left a message and called my sister-in-law down the road who went to lure him into her car with 'puperoni' treats, and who drove up with him just as we were heading out ourselves to find him. It was lovely! YAAAAY!! Current Mood: relieved (2 Comments |Comment on this)

8:59 pm	First entry This is me, sad. My dog Magic has not come back from our collective walk...it was me, him, his two sisters and our other dog Penny. That was 9:15 am; it is currently 8:51 PM....He's been gone almost 12 hours. The temperature is dropping....he never runs away. I called all my Dad's neighbors..(I'm visiting my Pa and my stepmom for Solistice/Christmas), the local animal shelter and the dog catcher...I'm hoping mybe someone brought him inside. The number on his collar is to my machine,which is new..I don't have the code memorized yet for retrieving messages from afar. I'm going back home tomorrow, an hour North of here, so I hope someone will call me there, or someone here will call my Pa and I can come back for him. Anyway...I just hope he's okay.
